The Hall

The Main Hall is a great space that can be used for all sorts of activities and events, including children's parties, fitness classes, social events, and more.

Welcome to the new Arrington Assembly Rooms webpage!

It's a work in progress, but we hope that it will become an easy place for you to find out what events are coming up at the hall, and for you to book yourself in, if you want to use the hall yourself for children's parties, social events, or whatever you'd like to use this wonderful space for.

The Snooker Room

We've recently closed the Snooker Room so that we can arrange some much-needed renovation work.

It's a lovely room with a full-size snooker table that has been used by the snooker club for a long time - and the photos and plaques on the wall are testiment to the great success of the club over the years!

As soon as we can, we'll be opening the snooker room up for the whole village so anyone and everyone will be able to book sessions and benefit from this great resource...

Upstairs at the Hall

On Tuesdays and Wednesday the upstairs is currently home to the Da Vinci Life Skills BE Hub. See here for more information and photos of the amazing space they've created up there!

Quiz Night draws a crowd!

The first Arrington Assembly Rooms quiz night in recent memory was a roaring success, with six teams battling it out for supremacy!

Congratulations to the winners, but there were no losers because every one had a great time...

Many thanks to everyone for coming along, and for helping tidy up afterwards too!!

And special thanks to Quiz Masters Paula and Sarah, and to Greg and Sharon who helped out on the bar at the last minute!!

Goodbye to Kooky Nohmad (hopefully temporarily!)

We've said a sad goodbye to Kooky Nohmad as their summer residency at The Hardwicke Arms has come to an end! But we are hopeful that they will return very soon and we look forward to the coffees and cakes when they come back to Arrington!

And remember they are still open in Royston, so you can always call in on them there!

The book club is now every 4 weeks on the second Tuesday of the month. Come along on the 13th October at 7-9pm and join in the discussion of this month's book Miss Benson's Beetle by Rachel Joyce.
